Blueberry Farms Region

BLUEBERRY FARMS
MUNICIPALITIES

Abundant in resources, land, and opportunity, Blueberry Farms is a rural region founded on a natural resource based economy that included forestry, mining, and agriculture. The closure of the K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base has resulted in a unique set of challenges and opportunities that the region continues to navigate 25 years post closure. In the next 20 years, Blueberry Farms will significantly benefit from finding a way to meet the needs of all its residents and using its natural assets to generate sustainable, equitable growth.
